Need Help with Video Card

I built a new PC and it works well!
But here is my Question? I have a "PowerColer Radion 6450 2gb Video card!
(My Setup)
Asus motherbroad FM1
8gb G-Skill
A6-3500 cpu
128 ssd plexor
128 ssd Oz
plus two "7200" hhd's

Now! back to the Video Card, in windows 7 my preformance is (4.5) for this card.
Can anyone tell me why this? am i doing something wrong? my Video Card can't be that bad can it?

Hey,
Windows experince index isn't something to take seriously lol, try benching the card with some 3d marks type software, it isnt really a performance card though to be honest

Are you referring to the WEI....windows experience index (score). If so....don't worry about it...it means nothing to most of us anyway. As long as the hardware is performing like it should, it's fine.

I've replaced an old hard drive with a score of 5.9 to a more modern 1 TB drive and it dropped to a 5.4. My hdd performance is very good....I have no lags, delays and it seems to have a bit more pep....granted it's new and the old drive is 5 years old.

Ok but how do you get it to show a higher scor, Will i have to buy a "5 to 6 hundred card and even then will that help? (just wondering)

How well do i know, if you look i've just installed two "SSD"s and my score is 4.5 over all, I was just wondering why does the Video Card hold it back, this card (while not that good) it does do a good job in Games, or at least that what i have rear and been told.

Thanks you guys, I don't know much about computers but i love them a lot, this april 21st I will be "70 Years Old" I got my first computer back when "Windows 95 came out it cost me $1100 US and i took it home and took it apart and got me a book that had pitchurs in it and matched every thing to the book (My Wife Had Sh-- fit when she saw it.. Thanks again for your help..

No problem, most people dont listen to that score, but for reference it takes the score of the lowest subset(eg. your graphics card) and i think it only goes up to 7.

I got curious and just checked mine and it is 3.3 on the laptop with on board graphics, just enough to play command and conquer 3 at full res.
