Need hide my files and folder.

My son has tech knowledge, but my daughter doesn't have. Both of them are use my laptop. my office essential files and folders in it so how do i protect them. If they delete them my Bose will kick my A**. So how do i do it.

Hello Slimshaddy, and welcome to Seven Forums.

In addition, you might consider having your son and daughter setup with their own "Standard User" accounts, and you still with the only administrator account. This way you could keep your files in your user account's user folders without them having any access to them.

I would also recommend to keep backups of anything that you do not want to lose at a separate location to be extra safe.

I would also add that it would be a good idea to get them their own computer, especially if this is a work computer, containing your actual work data. I've been in IT for 15 years, and as an IT Manager for 6. I can't tell you how many times I've had to recover data and reload a system because someone let their kids use their business system.
