Hello,
I put the HTPC (win 7) to S3 sleep when it is idle, but of course the Network wakes it up right after it goes to sleep (withOUT any user accessing the shares on the HTPC, my guess is some services or other devices are pinging the HTPC for whatever reason). So I disable the NIC from waking the system up. But this means that when other network devices go to search, say, for music, from the server, it no longer wakes up.
How does one put an HTPC to sleep without it being woken up by some background task on other devices?
Ya know what I mean?
