Need software recommendation

I need help desk software, preferably free. I need to have a simple ticket system. Needs to run on my system, not a server or network. Any ideas?

Yes, it's free. I wanted something to handle email. Rather than getting email from each store/product at personal email addresses, I'll use the HelpDesk to handle them at one address plus keeps track. I forget which email I've used at a site/project. I felt it would be easier to use a help desk

I'll install this afternoon and will let y'all know how it goes

Absolutely best of all CRM programs I have used is Microsoft Dynamics, especially it's ticket tool Dynamics NAV (former Navision) which I like very much but it's price keeps it out of reach for private users. We use it at work.

You are looking something for free. A quite nice free alternative is Insightly.

If the basic functions and 3 users are enough for you, it's free. When needed you can upgrade it to get 6, 15 or more users. Even the cheaper upgrade packets Starter and Advanced offer more users, storage space and features. For my personal needs Insightly Gratis, the free version has been enough.
