Solved Need Some CD Help

I bought this 100 pack of CD's today. They had a clear wrapper around them with a colored paper wrapper below that. I took the clear wrapper off so I could get to the first CD. I expected there to be a plastic center that the CD's were stacked on. Instead the CD's are just stacked up so that when I took the paper off the stack almost fell over, nothing there to hold them. Do any of you have any good ideas how to stack these as I have no old CD packs that normally have the plastic center?

How about a wooden Dowel attached to piece of wood?

Quick fix - pencil through a flat chunk of styro. But I like Bongo's dowel idea.

I want to thank the three of you for some excellent options. I went back to the same store and they had nothing that I could use, but plenty of packages like I had bought. Not sure what people do. I think for the time being Fantail's idea would work. If I get industrious, I might go to the workbench and give Bongo's idea a go. Thanks,

I always buy this brand on spindles of 100. They have a base, spindle, and clear plastic storage cover.

Verbatim CDs

And use these for movies Verbatim DVD

Without getting into it. This brand has a very low failure rate. "Coasters"

That is a good price on those for 100. I was in quick need of some CD's. All the ones I have bought in the past had the spindles, but this was a cheap price for 100 CD's so I grabbed it with out even checking for the spindle. == I have bookmarked your suggestion for future use. Thanks,

I used to buy the bargain basement ones, but after getting a pile of bad recording. Freeze ups, failure to start, poor quality records, etc. I did my homework and found that Verbatims are the best quality for the price. And unless someone else is having a special sale on them, you will not beat amazons prices.

Nowadays, I don't record much on CD/DVDs any more. I usually just steam it from Netflix, or use flashdrives, and External HDDs.

I am a transplant from Georgia in 1958. I think that almost makes me a "Native Texan".
