Need some help on Font!

OK, my windows has recently changed its font automatically. Everything is bold or either italics, my IMs my web browsing...very annoy. People say it might be a virus, but ive scanned my comp and nothing is found, and if there is something, its quickly removed.

can you go to the start>search>type fonts>click on change font settings>click on restore default font settings

should work

Yup, it just stays the same, if you want, we could use teamviewer for a more depth analysis

Yea no can do. Im behind a firewall at work and they get kinda upset about opening ports.

do you have a backup to restore from? did I ask you that already?

if you have a vista dvd you can boot from it and do a repair install. How did the fonts get changed?

I had a windows update, restarted, and font were all messed up. My system restore and back up all of that i dont keep. I have a iso of window 7 on a disk, but it wont boot off it so idk anymore
