I bought my system a few months ago, last month I installed a intel ssd and also bought a virus+firewall software. I could not install the ssd driver for the disk was not in the package. It was suppose to come with one. I downloaded intels toolbox and that could not install the driver from there for it kept giving me a notification of a error. I went to intels website again and downloaded the driver iso and burnt that to a disk. upon install that gives some sort of incompatibly 32bit and 64 bit error. after 2 weeks of the ssd, and virus software install I been getting BSOD about every 3 days. I finally yesterday backed up my data and redid my os and reinstalled a few necessary programs only, and earlier today I get another BSOD.

programs installed
ZoneAlarm Extreme security suite
firefox
Ultra Hal
winamp
and a few others

System specs
Gateway fx 6950-51
core i7 2600
8 gigs of ddr3
intel x25v sata 40 gb ssd (main drive)
1tb hard drive (original system drive being used for storage drive)

please any help with with this would be greatly appreciated
here are the needed files as asked for with BSOD issues

EDIT: operating system is windows 7 home premium 64 bit

Ok I have been searching this site and I saw that ZoneAlarm might be causing this.
I went to there forums and found this sticky thread dated back for 2010
http://forums.zonealarm.com/showthread.php?t=72970
I would like to think they would of solved this by now, seeing how much ZoneAlarm costs and all
can someone please confirm whether or not this issue is causing my BSOD problem it would be greatly greatly appreciated thanks

panais Thanks for the reply,
I Disabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP to see if that solved the BSOD issue yesterday, as the ZoneAlarm forums sticky suggested. I left my machine on over night and no BSOD yet. I'm still praying that fixes the issue. If this is the fix, does this mean I will not be able to connect to ahome media server? I was planning on building one someday soon.

all was going good today until I started downloading a program. and yup you guessed it another BSOD.
this time I had set up previously for my pc not to restart after a BSOD, so I can post the error code up here.
here is the error code that shows up on the BSOD screen

*** stop: 0x0000007f (0x0000000000000008, 0x0000000080050031, 0x00000000000406f8, 0xFFFFF80002E8DEC8)

Please can someone decipher this error for me, many thanks Sincerely Xialed

Have you got the latest firmware on that SSD? I know other makers are having real problems getting it right. I've updated my corsair force 3 two times now. It's getting better but still not 100%

Thanks Hipster Doofus for the reply
so those errors are due to SSD drivers? I was praying it was not my Ram :)
it is impossible for me to get the ssd drivers atm, toolbox driver update fails, and download iso after burnt to disk the exe says not happening in so many words. I have to contact intel and hopefully they can send me a disk or do something.

When you downloaded the firmware ISO file, did you burn it to disk. You can't copy it, you have to burn it to disk for it to be bootable. I have never had a problem updating firmware on my Intel. Did you burn it and then boot from the CD?

Also, to test your ram, use memtest86 and run it for 7 passes. How to run memtest86

essenbe Thanks a lot, I will do a 6-7 pass mem test tonight, and post my results tomorrow. I did burn the 1st downloaded iso to a disk using nero, and it when tried to boot the disk gave a error. I through that disk in the trash. I downloaded again today, and burnt the iso to a disk again using nero. This time it booted successfully and loaded the firmware/driver without any issues :D

yowanvista Thanks you so much for letting me know that. looks like I have to go talk with ZoneAlarm to see if they can or will resolve this. I am a repeating customer with them, I really had no major issues with them before. the only other problem I had with there software was last year on a vista machine I had to disable there key logger program. for every key on my keyboard kept changing it's character with every press. Other than that I have been satisfied with there extreme suit. I really would hate to have to stop using it, but I hate these BSODs even more.

you all here been very generous, and I want to again thank you all for your kindness, time, help, and suggestions.
have a good night and see ya'll tomorrow with those mem test results

it's been a long night, I ran the mem test through about 6.5 passes and no errors :)

update:
just chatted with ZoneAlarm,
He suggested I patch my os back to service pack one, and informed me of a product update.
looks like I will be busy for a while downloading and installing.
I really hope this product update fixes this BSOD issue.
I want to get back to enjoying my computer again

Last two and a half days with my computer have been great, besides the fear in the back of my head of another BSOD.
I have not received another one yet, knock on wood.
I just wanted to take the time, and say thanks you all again for all the help.
