Need Speakers

When I ordered this computer I didn't order speakers. I thought I had some that would work but they didn't... wrong connectors. Will these work well with the XPS 8700?

I'm quite sure that those speakers will work.

Just put it in the GREEN connector.

If not get a 3.5mm to 2.5mm converter.

Yeah. I've had a very bad time with Acer/Gateway. Tis' not end well.

Well, in the interim I actually got on a Chat with Dell and they recommended the Logitech Z323 speakers so I'll go for that...not bad for under $100.
