In order to help you, we need some more information. What is the model number of your motherboard?
Assuming that you are using on-board audio, and that it is Realtek, you can get the latest driver here:
Realtek
Download and save the zipped version of the driver. Once downloaded, right-click on the downloaded folder and extract the files. Accept the default location for extraction. Next, follow this Tutorial to install the driver:
Device Manager - Install Driver - Vista Forums Browse to the location that the driver was extracted to.

When you tried the Realtek HDA did you reinstall twice?
