I bought an XP computer and I upgraded it to Windows 7 Ultimate. It came with its own wifi adapter built in (it was modded). I erased XP and installed 7. I also erased the Windows.old folder too (sorry:()
So I downloaded the drivers and everything from my laptop and put it on a flash drive (6GB), and its working, its just my computer needs an update so the internet controller thing works (not really sure what it's called, sorry). I live in apartments, so there is no cord, only wifi. It really is so not cool. Please help. Is there a way to get the info from that computer and put it in my computer and download the right update files? ;/

Have a look in Device Manager - what entry is complaining?
Then go to the manufacturer's website, and download the appropriate driver (or post as much information as you can from the DM Properties window).
You can download the driver on another computer and transfer it via USB stick or CD/DVD.
