Need USBSTOR.SYS Ver 6.1.7600.1635 Any one have a copy ?

I fixing a Toshiba Portege R500 and I need to replace the USBSTOR.SYS, it is now Ver 6.1.7601.17577 and it does not find the CD/DVD rom but the version 6.1.7600.1635 will.

Any one have a copy or know where I can find it ?

On my Win 7 Pro x64 system, usbstor.sys is in the following locations:



but none appear to be the version you need. Any chance there is copy in another location on the computer you are working on.

Everything Search is a great tool for finding all locations of a file, that's what I used for the above.

Edit: If you use Explorer to go to C:\windows\system32\drivers then right click on USBSTOR.SYS, are there any previous versions in the Previous versions tab?
