Need way to "queue" up a number of large files for transfer Ext HDD

I have a ton of media I'd like to transfer over to an external HDD.
I don't want to simply select a bunch of folders and drag n drop over to the backup drive tho, I want to select individual files (or folders) and save them into their respectively named folders on the backup drive.

If I do this with the default windows file copy manager (via the drag n drop method) I'll end up with dozens of "File Transfer" windows, each with its own percent completion status, and it tends to choke out my machine.

Is there a 3rd party software that will allow me to individually select the files/folders I want and add them to a queue, then batch transfer the whole list to a user-specified destination path?

I'm thinking an FTP client but that seems a little overkill. Kinda looking for something simple and easy.
