You don't have a Windows 7 disc? It normally has all the drivers anyone would need.

Your graphic card is fairly old, its normal that your applications lags a lot as it only has 64MB
Consider getting an upgrade/new system

You should add more RAM for a smooth performance (your board supports up to 2GB)

VIA no longer provides any updates for your GPU model since it was released in 2004http://www.s3graphics.com/en/drivers/index.aspx

NO, the only solution is to install the old XP drivers in http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html

Your system is old, so don't expect it to be fast

There may be still problems as these drivers are very old and no longer updated

Very very few people need anything more than Windows 7 Home Premium. Many of those buying Professional or Ultimate do so for er, ah, uh, personal reasons. Leave it at that.

Your PC is so old that you shouldn't expect much if you do try Windows 7. Concentrate on upgrading it rather than upgrading to Windows 7.

Hard drives, monitors, video card, keyboard, mice, CD drives, DVD drives, networks cards, audio cards, processors, and nearly any other hardware you can think of need drivers.

Look in C\Windows\System32\drivers

You should see a few hundred files.
