Needing some help please youtube.com kicked my internet off

I will try and explain this the best i can.

My laptop is a compaq presario cq60 and i have a netgear router. Everything was working fine until about 4 days ago now when other members of the family are watching youtube.com it kicks my laptop and my ipad off the internet connection. it will have the yellow caution sign on the acess bars but still say its connected. or it will have the yellow sun icon and be trying to find the network. if it reconnects to it the net is too slow to load webpages and say limited access. At times it will also say ip address conflict. I have tried resetting the moden and router nothing has work. The oddest thing is if no one watches youtube.com everyyhing works fine or if i am the one watching it it doesnt kick the connection off. Any help to fix this problem would be greatly apperciated thank you!

With all the background services that run on OS these days, and all the flash and newfangled crap, and U Tube is always changing the tecnology to try and keep people from downloading content, it does not supprise me this has happend to you. How old is your router? Do you know how to use Netstat? Do the other devices on the router get kicked off if you watch U Tube? Is you IP address asigned by DHCP... Lets start with that...

How many people are watching YouTube at once? It might be the router kicking out a device using least bandwidth because there is too much bandwidth being used. Does it happen when others are watching other video websites such as Vimeo?

Theres is usually just one person watch it one a tablet at the time it starts kicking off. The router is maybe 4 years old and worked great til recently. only youtube is ever used. If i watch it nothing gets kicked off no.

Ip conflict usually means 2 computers are using the same IP numbers change your computer to a static Ip and that should fix it
