.net issues that are unable to be repaired

Having some new problems installing a program (Quickbooks enterprise). It all comes down to some .net problems in Windows 7. Yes, I have tried to run the Windows .net fix. I've tried to run the corrupt file finder. We even called Geek Squad and after working on it for hours remotely they couldn't fix it. Does this mean my only option is to do a clean reinstall?

What are exactly your original problems?
And how did you came to the conclusion that .net itself is the fault?

Hi - the original problem was that we were unable to install the newer version of Quickbooks Enterprise (2015) on what is supposed to be the program server. Quickbooks gave us error message number 1722 (repair or reinstall .net framework). Quickbooks article suggested that we run the ms .net framework repair tool. Did this and got a message that everything is fixed. Yet, we still get this error message when trying to install QB. So we tried stopping .net and restarting it - no luck. We called Geek Squad, who tried to install the MS updates for .net that were sitting in the optional updates section. Everything installed fine except for the .net 4.5 update. MS error message kept saying that the update was not able to be installed (who knows if this would have fixed the problem). We ran the corrupt file checker and there are no corrupt files. We just keep getting the QB error 1722 and 1723. Geek Squad says they don't know what to do and the computer will have to be serviced in store. We are trying not to have to do that. Any ideas?
