A friend has a laptop and the network adapter has suddenly vanished and windows can not find any networks now. I have found the actual adapters in device manager, they were hidden, but they all say they are working correctly. The adapter doesn't show up in the networking and sharing centre where it should be. Only the ethernet one does.
