Network cards

I need an explanation about PCI Network Cards with antenna.

Are they universal to work with all routers,

Looking at this one from Novatech....

Novatech 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless LAN PCI Card : novatech.co.uk : NOV-54GPCI

My router is a Netgear DG834v3, which doesn't have a USB wireless adapter for Windows 7

I've never used anything but USB Adapters before.

Hey,

As far as I know it shouldn't be a problem.

But... What encryption do you use on the router?
WEP, WPA or WPA2? This pci-card only supports WEP.
And WEP isn't as safe as WPA or WPA2.

Thanks Ronalde, wasn't sure and couldn't find any confirmation about being universal.

Will check for one with extra security.
