I got video cards from a friend one day and tried them all out on my computer. (msi nf980-g65 motherboard, WD 1.0 TB HD, g.skill ripjaws ddr3 2GB x2 memory, AMD phenom x4 black eddition, windows 7 home premium 64 bit) the video cards were pretty old, but working. one of them was a ati radion 9800. i was so ecxited to put them in, i didn't take the propper steps beforhand. so when i installed it, downloaded the latest driver, after about 5 min. it would bluescreen then restart. so i thought huh, thats wierd, and then took it out. everything was working fine. exept the network adapter. it ws seeing our home network that has 2 PC's and an xbox on it as a public network and isn't connecting. i've reset the modem multiple times with different configurations of our 2 routers, did 2 system restores, niether of them were successful. i've changed the ip and gateway to the exat same as the xbox( exept for the last digit of ip address), and then reinstalled windows 7 as a desperate measure. AND NOTHING HAS WORKED!!!! we need help.
