So I recently upgraded my laptop from Vista to 7. I have a desktop running Vista. After upgrading the laptop, I mapped the secondary drive of the desktop as a network drive on the laptop. It worked fine for a couple of days. Then the laptop wouldn't connect to the drive. I checked the network page and the laptop couldn't even see the desktop at all.

I have network discovery and file sharing enabled on both computers. This setup also worked fine before I upgraded to 7.

Any help you can offer is very much appreciated.

I reset the router once and reset all the settings. It did work, but once again only for a couple of days.

Here's the specs:
Router: D-Link DIR-615
Laptop: Dell Inspiron 1420 with a Dell 1300 WLAN card. (I think it's the 1300 anyway).

Oh, and the laptop's 32 bit, whereas the desktop's 64 bit.
