Network Icon Contain A Yellow Sign

When I configure my lan adapter it's connect successfully. I found my workgroup pc . But problem it's showing as a "unidentified network" and a yellow sign is showing on the network icon. What's problem here.

Update NIC driver from you vendors website. Depending on make and model of PC (retail) or custom build, the addon NIC or built in on mobo...the driver maybe with the chipset or a stand alone download.

Thank's for your prompt. I don't install any driver. When I install Win 7 it's automatically load all driver. It's work normally. But problem, why it's showing as a unidentified network. By the way, when I connect my pc to internet, then it's ok. It's showing "connected" network. While I disconnected then it again showing as unidentified network. Actually I don't understand, what's wrong here.

Sorry if I am misunderstood , So are you connecting to a router or an Ad Hoc connection (Computer to computer)

And when you say you are connecting to the internet are you using an RJ45 Ethernet cable?

Do you have a wireless network adapter as well as an ethernet network adapter?

If so, which one is showing as "Unidentified"?

Have you checked in Device Manager to see what is going on there?

You could try this as a possible solution:

Click Start and type cmd in the Search field.

Right-click cmd under the Programs list and choose Run as Administrator to open a Command Prompt Window.

Type the following two commands and press Enter after each one to run it.

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

Type Exit and press Enter to close the Command Prompt Window then restart your computer and check to see if the fault has been cleared.

thanks Mr. Josh you are right. I am connecting my router by RJ 45 UTP cable. All of the process working fine, no problem but it's showing as a unidentified network.

Okay with that in mind could you please tell me the Make/Model of your router if any and also try to restore it to Factory condition

Unidentified Network solution

Right click adapter and disable. Again right click and click diagnose. Done !
