Network not connected but

I just noticed this that when you open the network from the desktop it says its not connected but when you click on the network icon in the taskbar it says its connected is anyone else having this problem.

Hi Steven,

In the past when I've had inconsistencies with network indications (icon showing disconnected when online Etc.)

I've found that if you re-start the Network List Service [netprofm] that will often solve this - maybe worth a try :)

I have also got the same problem with my Gateway NV78 :(
I've even try in deleted my Norton 360 and was still the same!
