Hi guys & Gals
I've got a windows 7 network problem, I've got 2 desktop pcs & 2 laptops all running windows 7 ultimate, my problem is I can't seem to access all pcs/laptops form all..
the main desktop can access all networked pcs/laptops,
but nothing can access the main desktop pc.
I get a message come up that says
"network error" "windows cannot access \\desktop name\d" (d: being a hdd)
"you do not have permission to access \\Desktop name\d. contact your network administrator to request access.
I am the administrator,
I have no passwords set up on the main pc, I have a network password, which I have entered, but still get the same message come up. & this happens from all the other pcs.
the only thing I can access is the shared docs folder.
I am running norton 2010, I have looked through all the settings, but can't find anything
please help as the main desktop has the printers, & things connected to it...
thanks phill
