Network Problems

Hi all,
I'm having several problems which I think all may stem from the same root.

I took my computer on my vacation with me and did nothing/very little with it online. It was when I got back that problems started.

First off, my FTP program, FileZilla, no longer works. I tried two other programs and they couldn't access my server either. Finally I got access with a web-based FTP.

I noticed today that my bluetooth adapter seems to have totally vanished from my computer. I usually leave the adapted disabled, so sometimes the icon vanishes from the system tray. But this time, I could not get that icon back there. I tried to download HP Wireless Assistant (which somehow got deleted from my computer a long time back) as I remembered on there you could control adapter settings and enable them.

I couldn't download the driver, as any site I went to was trying to download it from an ftp:// location which HP had set up. Coincidence with first problem? I then though the problem might be with the bluetooth driver, and tried to download that from HP's website. Same problem with download as the HP Wireless program.

I've done a restore back to July 12th, the earliest my computer had saved. Problems still persist.

To top it off, my brother cannot download the HP software from his computer either (same house). This makes me wonder if maybe the entire problem is stemming from the network we are on, somehow. I know this isn't a whole lot of information, but it's all I have :P

Quite frankly, trying to solve this has been infuriating. I would appreciate any help you could provide. Thanks!

I ran all of the troubleshooters in the network section that were applicable...no dice. I'm just about convinced it's my network and some way it's set up because I was able to connect to FTP at a friend's house just fine. I should have downloaded the HP file as a further test, but I didn't =P
