network recognizes devices only very slowly

hi all!
i run a wireless network with a d-link524 router, a win7 pc and an imac. during startup i observe that it takes up to 60 minutes that the imac shows up on the win7 network folder and vice versa. also i tried to add my xbox360 to the network. on the imac it took 120 minutes until the box finally turned online. any clues what might be going wrong here?

Try to temporarily disable all firewalls. If the devices show up quicker, then its you’re firewall settings.
