Solved Network Signal Strength

Via systray icon a popup of available networks displays. Several appear with different bars that define the signal strength (poor, fair, good, excellent). Is there a method to determine precisely the strength in whatever (db, hertz, ?) the units are?

When I do this I see transmit/receive rates. Not what the op requests, unless I am doing something wrong with this or misunderstanding your advice.

FYI, Maximum Absolute power of WiFI radios depends on Channel number and Country. Each country has its own regulation regrding WiFI transmition. For example, in UK, the permitted signal strengths are as follows:
Channels 1-13: (2.4GhZ) Max Power 100mW
Channels 36-64: (5GhZ) Max Power 200mW
Channels 100-140: (5GhZ) Max Power 1000mW (1W)
Channels 149-161: (5GhZ) Max Power 4000mW (4W)
