Networking from my Vista desktop to my 7 laptop

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to transfer all of my files back and forth between my desktop which has Vista and my laptop which has Windows 7. I am totally confused after trying for the longest time. Can anyone help? My laptop is connected to my router wirelessly and my desktop is plugged into the router. Please help!!

The best thing to do is to burn and move to the new laptop. Vista is to hard to network with windows 7. I hope this helps you.

ahh ok. thanks for the tip. if anyone can put some ideas up you're still welcome! I want to be able to watch videos/listen to music on my laptop and have the actual files on my desktop, that's why I was hoping to network them.
