Hi ALL
I am having an Issue with Windows 7 32 and 64 bit versions when Connecting to a Network both Wired and Wireless.
Setup
We Have one 8Mb Broadband Line, With a Draytek 2820 Series BB Router. Connected to the Router is a Netgear 24 Port Switch Connected to This Switch are 3 24 port Netgear Switches going to Other Areas of the Building.
Connected to these switches are about 8 Desktop Machines running Windows XP Pro and a Windows 2003 Server. With No Issues and 4 Linksys WRT320N Acting as Wireless Access Points.
All PC get there IP Address from the Draytek Router, which is also acting as an DNS Proxy server, and Firewall. We Block All Outbound Access through this Expect for Access to a Citrix Hosted Environment, ICMP For Testing and a 3 Desktop PC Which Run Application Which need Internet Access.
When We Connect a Windows 7 PC to either the Wireless or the Wired Network we get no Access to the Citrix Hosted Environment Via a Web Browser. We get an IP address and are able to Ping Out E.g. Google.com. But the Network Icon in the Task Bar keeps Saying Local Only Access.
If we Open up The Firewall on the Draytek Router, we still get the same.
But the Funny Thing is that if we connect directly into the Draytek we have no issues.
we get the Same Issue with Vista As Well.
any Thoughts?
Just to Add we have one PC with a Windows XP Virtual Machines which has No Problem Connecting.
