I intend to install Windows 7 in October. Is there any way that I will still be able to connect to my friend's XP shared folders, and for her to connect to mine?

At present we can connect using my LAN.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Hi and welcome to seven forums

We could tell you more if we knew your system specs and network setup, but shares from xp to win 7 is not very difficult but there are a few bumps
