networking with 64 bit win 7 and 32 bit win 7 problems

I have a desktop running windows 7 64 bit with a printer attached (HP PSC 750) another desktop running XP 32 bit, and an Acer Aspire One netbook running Win 7 32 bit. All networked through a belkin 54G wireless router.
The Win 7 64 bit desktop and the XP communicate flawlessly, sharing files and the printer. The netbook on the other hand can't do anything. All PCs show up on the network map correctly. From the 64 bit and the XP machines I can access the netbooks public folders. When on the netbook I cannot access any of the PCs on the network and cannot find the printer. When I open the network page with the three icons for each pc and click on any one of them, I get an access denied message. Including the netbook's own icon.???
And I thought the XP machine was going to give me headaches. So is it my router, the netbook, am I missing something in the network settings? Perhaps there are known issues networking a 32 and 64 bit machine, I don't know. please help before I pull out all of my remaining hair.

Is the netbook on the same workgroup and/or same homegroup as the other computers? Have you installed any third party firewall/security applications on the netbook? Do you have the netbook in a home, work, or public network?

All pcs are in the same workgroup, there are no third party firewalls, and all are set as home networks.

Did you name the netbook's computer name the same thing as one of the desktops? If so, change one of the names.

Go on netbook, open command prompt and type

net view then hit enter.

Post a screenshot. You can do the same from a desktop too if you would like.

all the comp names and user names are different.

Try disabling the firewall on the netbook.

did it. still get accessed denied..............the specified network provider name is invalid

here is a screen shot of the netbook trying to open its network icon. I get this message when trying to access the other pcs too. the other pcs can access each other just fine.

Well, I couldn't find any Vista or Windows 7 drivers, so this might be related to a network driver issue. Have you tried connecting the netbook to your router via ethernet cable instead of by wifi to see if you still have an issue?

Do you have identical usernames/passwords on all of the computers? If not, try adding them to the netbook.

Just tried something. I thought maybe it had something to do with the netbook's built in wireless LAN so I plugged in a wireless USB LAN and set it up. Still got the same results. Got Internet, but can't access the network pcs or find the printer.

Lobo Look in advance share settings, If this is selected then unselect it. look in public shares click on down arrow, make sure all setting are on. Good luck to you with this problem.
I have a x86 netbook and a x64 desktop with respective 7 installs and can share and see all. I have a xp x86 that the printer is connected to and I print from the netbook anywhere in the house. Don't give up it can be done.

If you have user JohnDoe on computer 1, but not on the netbook, add user JohnDoe on the netbook. Use the same password on both.
