But will it blend? Some sweet tech right there, did not know that this was so close. Would love to use a smaller battery again. Right now have a 10k mah one for the note 3.
Hmm well I did see a reference to it about a year ago and then it was years away but I ma guessing there are some smart folks around.
What I was thinking was though I am not so much interested in size because my phone battery for example is not that big but if it were made with this new tech stuff and the same size it would perhaps give e double or triple the life of the current lithium battery.

What i'm wondering is how hot will it get while "quick charging". I will always like run time over size I think since I can get so much more done and not be tethered to a power brick while doing it. My note 3 has been good to me with this zero lemon but man is it big and heavy (10 oz.). It gets the job done with a decent range on androids wake locks though. I'v yet to see a phone with a stock battery come close to this type of life.
Yes a good point and I am also wondering to how hot it would get under heavy loads or even a short circuit. I remember a few years ago putting an ordinary 9v battery in my trouser pocket and it shorting out on some coins it wasn't until I got quite burnt that I realized what was happening.
Myself I am not really a fan of quick charging because of damage to the materials - I have made quite a few battery chargers in the past including car lead acid types and making them to charge quickly it has had effects from just being very hot to actually buckling the plates - but perhaps this new tech may get around that.

Yeah I remember when I learned that exact lesson with 9 volts and a pocket full of paper clips lol. This is the main reason I don't touch the quick charge on my Y2P.
