hey

i think this thread is in the wrong place and if so i am sorry and i hope a mod can move it to the correct place =].

moving on...

im building my first Ryzen build and i would like peoples opinions

i have already bought a Ryzen 1700x and a ROG Strix B450-f Gaming
now due to budget i didnt go for a X range Mobo or a 2nd gen ryzen.
im planning on getting a Hyperx predator 8gb 2933mhz 1 stick for now as cash flow is very low so this build will take me a month or two to complete and i wanted to get a second to make 16gb so i can run dual channel, cooler for the Ryzen has been covered, im going to recycle my 212 Evo for it as i wont overclock right away and i have a mate who has the AM4 bracket, PSU 600w and SSD are recyled too, but will be changed with a M2 and a 750W psu as im going RGB on this build.
graphics on the otherhand i have a Vega 56 which acording to a fair few people is a decent card for this CPU and wont bottleneck like a b*****.

when funds become better better parts will be bought but for now is any of that alright as some say get a better cpu/mobo/psu all that but im not a millionair lol

p.s sorry for bad spelling.

Hello,

650W Power Supply is recommended for that Graphics card. RGB should only take fractions of a watt, NOT 100 Watts.
Recycling SSD is a good idea. If you wanted to save money perhaps also consider recycling graphics card, as a PCIe 2.0 card should work in a PCIe 3.0 slot.
You will have difficulty running Ryzen Architecture plus mobo on Windows 7, as there is no driver support. So budget also for migrating to Windows 10.
