New build need advice

What are your thoughts on this build, have I forgot anything or should I change something please let me know.
I know I haven't listed a video card that will be later and I also have not listed OS I have a copy of Windows 8 Pro(it's for my wife anyway ) but I'm still debating I might put Windows 7 home premium on it.

? CPU cooler, stock intels are not highly rated but i dont know what they are like on new chips but i guessing they will be same/similar but i suppose it depends if you are planning to OC and to what level

You might be pushing your luck adding an unmatched RAM module to the one that came with the bundle. Unmatched RAM (i.e. RAM not bought as a matched kit) sometimes doesn't play well together.

Thanks Paul after I get it going I'll have to check the temperatures and see but I will put it on the list of what I made need to do. I don't plan on doing any overclocking at all. My wife is complaining a little bit about her old slow desktop so I thought this might speed things up just a little

In that case, bench the rig with only the RAM in the package installed to make sure everything is working alright, then add the second module to see if they will get along with each other.

I don't believer a 85W i5 will have a overheating problem with stock fan if not over clocked.

It's a small change, but I have had 10 Samsung burners, and they have been quiet and rock solid...and cheap. Other than that, there's absolutely no reason to fear Windows 8 at this point. Two of my four systems are running it without issue, and I'm really getting used to some of the differences, like the new Task Manager. I couldn't tell you the last time I looked at the Metro screen, either. Since you have it already, I'd go with it.

You could download the manual for you motherboard ahead of time and read through it to get a good idea how things should be.
