New build

Just look up the cards you are considering and read all of the reviews. With the case you have chosen, you won't have any air flow problems, the rest of it will be the card.

very nice build...as oready stated a ssd will be a very good investment seeing as you want to play games... i would recommend running games of the ssd and maybe buy a 460 or 470....or maybe 2 460 if ur board is sli capable....the 460-470 cards are very good for the price they come at... all in all nice build

id say maybe the 560 mainly because its a newer card= newer and more cash spent on a card=better performance... maybe look at some reviews of both cards first to get a better idea but generally newer and dearer products are better...nice gaming rig you got/built though have fun with it

maybe i would say read upon a few reviews thoroughly of both cards and go with what you feel would be the performer for you... i personally would buy a nvidia 460 as i have used this card alot and never had any problems.. but to be on the safe side i would probably buy two of them to run in sli... thats only if you have the money to do that.. im just givving you a few options but for a single card i would say maybe the 480

Aha :-) how do factory OCd cards run? A stock 480 -should- be more stable than a soc 560 right?

i believe a good factory overlclocked card runs ok.. maybe from a good manufacturer like evga.. personally i always believe in buying the nvidia model (just something id rather do-weird i know haha) but erm i cannot comment on how stable the differences between the cards would be as iv never owned either of them. i would say get the best card you can afford for your price range.. you should have no problems that way..
respond back on what options you choose

I think I am going to get the GTX480... better bang for the buck.
A few motherboard questions:
Should I invest in the Z68 chipset instead of the P67?
Is the ASUs sabertooth pro better than the ASrock extreme6?
So much to choose from!!!!!
Thanks everyone!

There is an article about the Z68 in the news section of this forum. Go to a site like Newegg and read the feedback on the Sabertooth and the Asrock extreme4&6. Maybe that will help you.

good choice and the z68 chipsey appears to be a little better than the p67... only costs a little more than the p67 chipset to but it seems there isnt that much difference between the two... if i was you i would research a little on comparing the chipsets and see what benefits each will/can offer you before you make your choice( cause everyone wants the best mobo right? haha) again for the motherboard question i prefer the sabertooth purely because i believe asus make the better boards (personal preference on that one though) but again i would recommend you check out the specs on both see which is better for you..both seem to be very good motherboards..
good luck

Well, the ASRock has gold caps and a 16+2 power phase, THX, 10 sata ports
but the Sabertooth supposedly runs cooler and lasts longer
ArggggggggI don't know :S
And I think I'll stick to P67 as I'm nt gonna pay 30€ more for QuickSync and support for onboard GPU... feck it

According to some of the feedback I read, the Sabertooth does not run cooler. The thermal armor traps much of the heat inside. That's why they left a space to install a 50X10 fan that blows air under the armor. But, installing the fan blocks the top X1 slot.

So then I guess I'll go with the Extreme6... more phases, gold caps... but DAMN the sabertooth looks good
