Source -Less than a week after it graduated version 5 of Chrome to the Beta channel, Google provided the first update for early adopters. “Google Chrome 5.0.375.38 has been released to the Beta channel for Linux, Mac and Windows,” Anthony Laforge, from the Google Chrome Team, revealed. On May 4th, 2010, the Mountain View-based search giant provided Chrome 5.0.375.29, the first Beta development milestone of Chrome 5.0, also for all supported platforms.
According to Laforge, the latest Beta build of Chrome 5.0 is focused on delivering a range of fixes to both stability and reliability problems. Essentially, testers running the previous Beta release will be able to notice that the open source browser will crash less. In addition to resolving crashes, Chrome 5.0.375.38 also brings to the table a localization refresh for the browser’s strings.
