My current computer is 12yo, needs to be replaced. I'd like to build something for the next 10 yrs hopefully.
I already purchased the following components:
CPU - i9-13900KS
MB - ASRock Z790 Nova WiFi
Mem _ G. Skill RGB DDR5 6400
I need a gpu and would like some suggestions. I do a lot of multitasking, use Adobe products for extensive photography/video editing, stream live on youtube, stream music/movies, Zoom/skype.
The other issue is being clueless about the M.2 slots. The 1st slot gen5 is for the GPU. I'd like to get 2ea M.2 Samsung 990 PRO 4 TB with Heatsink, one for Win 11 pro and all software, and one for storage. My old computer has a Samsung 1TB SSD that was purchased a few yrs ago, so still good, as is the WD SATA 4TB drive, hopefully can use those for backups; have no desire to lose all my photos (1TB+) and another TB of music/vids. I currently use the Samsung 1TB SSD for all my software installs and the SATA WD 4TB for all my files/photos/music. I do a lot of photography for my business and continue to add large file photos RAW/JPEG, so anticipating future space needs.
