Hello there guys,

I'm having a problem turning off my computer system that I just finished putting together with all new components. Every time I "Shut down" my system simply restarts back to the desktop with the message:

"Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown"

I end up by having to perform a manual hard shutdown. Details of the problem are listed below:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 50
BCP1: FFFFF88803D60428
BCP2: 0000000000000000
BCP3: FFFFF88003D5D80A
BCP4: 0000000000000005
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\082212-8486-01.dmp
C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-22822-0.sysdata.xml

I followed the instructions regarding the download and running of the "SF Diagnostic Tool". I have attached it to this thread and I think/hope it has everything you requested.

If anyone can please advise me on how to continue it would be greatly appreciated.

- Kysavo.

I'm afraid not, nobody here was willing or able to assist.

I'll have to bring my system to the repair store soon so they can look at it.

Well maybe as this has been bumped up someone might be able to help you.

I don't have the expertise to advise you on this but I am sure someone will try to help.

Has the situation changed or is it the same?

Yes, the situation is the same and I'm afraid of damaging the system with regular and unnecessary hard-boots.

Test each RAM module separately, and if an error is found then test in a different slot, if a error is found on every available RAM slot then you have a faulty RAM module, however, if the error doesn't occur in a different RAM slot then you may have a problem with the RAM slot itself.

Hope this helps,

Harry
