New directX update

Just to give everyone a heads up. A new updater for Direct X is available.
9.27.1734 - 9/11/09
I check for updates once a month. Even on 7. So everyone should update
Even though windows 7 has DX11, you should always update the direct x. Older games still require these updates. I see alot of ATI Cat issues solved after installing these aswell.

You are welcome. Always good to keep DX updated.

Note: Even though Windows 7 has DX11, some games that require dx9, need these updates to optomise performance, or even work at all correctly.
Update your DX files people, it wont hurt, even if in "your" case it doesnt help either.

That link is the web-installer. The redistributable was published 8 days earlier and has already been mentioned here.

Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime

Download details: DirectX Redist (August 2009)

Check the version numbers on both - the same. the redistributable was published 8 Sept and the Web installer shows the 16 Sept as published date.

Therefore, if you already got it last week, you should be good to go.

Luckily the websetup is smart enough and won't even let you install over the August distribution.

Indeed, this is exactly what I mean
