Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe. I have this new board I am preparing and there is an undocumented header on the board. It is marked TB_Header. It is a ten pin header with one pin blank (not present). I suspicion thunder bolt. Ivy Bridge was supposed to support thunderbolt but I don't know if that is still in their plans. Also since there is no documentation in the manual and no claim in the boards features I am really curious. I posted on Asus forum and the reply from a moderator was "I think that is a reference to Thunderbolt".

It's for a dual NIC/audio amplifier PCI-Express card we used to sell last year called ThunderBolt. We named and sold it just before Intel announced its use of the name unfortunately. Such is life sometimes.

Right now it's been discontinued so this pin-out is only available for existing users who migrate the card to new builds. It's not suitable for an external device and it does not represent Intel Thunderbolt either sorry.
