My wifes machine has been running increasingly slowly, and I thought that I would reinstall the OS, and take the opportunity to upgrade to Windows 7 from XP. I carried out the analysis and the results suggested that it would be OK to upgrade.
I have done the upgrade, and in a system that has the bare OS and nothing more, it is running agonisingly slowly - can anyone suggest what I should do to find out why? It could be that the system is not powerful enough to operate - it has the following:
