new intel graphics drivers on windows update

I let windows update upgrade my graphics drivers to pre 1.1 wddm version, after I rebooted basically I lost my terminal font (which some apps use).

Is this pure coincidence (known windows 7 issue) or could it be graphics driver related?

Donno on that one. I do know that it wasn't up to par because of a different issue and I had to roll mine back.

yes I had issues with the first updated driver they did, but it seems intel/microsoft really want people to test this driver as it got moved from optional updates to critical updates so then I tried the newer one in critical updates and then lost the font.

It will be interesting to see if I get the font back if I rollback the driver.
