So, i had to buy new gpu/mobo which means i had to reinstall windows but i couldn't. I have tried more than 5 iso's and none of them worked. Somehow i had to use the computer so i install elementaryOS(linux). Any thoughts? I really need windows since new mobo/gpu drivers are only for windows.
Thanks in advance

We will need a lot more detail to help you. Were you entirely unable to boot to the Windows installer, did you encounter a problem once booted to the installer (USB devices not working, HDD not found), etc?

Are the ISOs from a reliable source?
Did you verify the ISO checksums with those provided by MSDN?
Did you burn the ISO to disc or create a bootable USB, and in either case, how?

"none of them worked".

Meaning what? Would not install at all? Would install, but would not activate? Would activate, but something else was wrong with it?

Maybe your ISOs are bogus. Where did you get them?

i tried a lot of different iso's and this one is the last one Windows 7 Ultimate Download ISO 32 Bit 64 Bit Official Free which gives me same error as others, "reboot and select proper disk device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key", that's how far i got, nothing more.
I'm mounting iso's via linux (etcher) but mounting seems to work, since it worked for mounting elementaryOS from laptop to use it for windows

I have no idea if that ISO is good, bad, or indifferent.

Try putting it on a bootable USB stick or burning it to a DVD.

You haven't filled out your system specs, so for all we know you are using a 1980s antique PC.

That's what i do, putting it on usb.
Mobo is asrock h61m-vg4,
gpu saphire radeon r7 2gb(doesn't matter)
cpu : i5 2320 3.00GHz
8gb ram
Let me know what else is needed. I really need that windows since my drivers for mobo/gpu which are new(lol) are for windows and that's why i bought them

That download site seems shady. At the very least you should verify the checksum. If the ISO checks out, it may be a case of improper disc burn or bootable USB setup, or improper BIOS configuration. How are you creating the bootable USB?

If the ISO doesn't check out and you have a retail key, you should try to download an ISO directly from MS.

I download it and mount it on usb via etcher on linux since i don't have windows pc now.
Would be a problem if the usb is with udf format or should it be fat32?

USB should be fat 32.

But, you may have a bad ISO. I guess you haven't done the checksum.

I'd put the ISO on a stick with Rufus, but I guess you don't have a PC.

Are you burning it properly ?

Use this program at no faster then x4 speed, if you are using a dvd.

Free ISO Burner

Ignatz, the usb does not have to be Fat32, it can be NTFS

Follow Ignatz advice and use Rufus for the stick.

Tell us what version you want, what bit and what language and we`ll post the Microsoft link to download the iso file, so you can start fresh.

I just looked up Etcher and I don't see any explicit indication it can create a bootable Win 7 install USB from ISO.

It looks like UNetBootin can do the job; this may help. Otherwise I'm sure googling 'Windows 7 usb linux' will dig up something else useful.

Problem solved.
Problem was due to burning the iso on usb. I managed to burn it via RUFUS from a windows pc in uni and it worked. After that i had problem with disk, where i couldn't install the windows. Made a disk cleaning and it worked, now i have already installed motherboard/graphics card drivers and I'm downloading windows10.
Thanks in advance for every kind of help.
Have a nice day
