Of the 3, the LG has the best specs. Quickest response time 2ms, highest contrast ratio 50000:1. I personally would not consider the Viewsonic, they don't make quality products in TV's at least, and their support is non existant (in TV's, where my experience lies).

I believe the LG and the ASUS will both be quality monitors, with the LG having better specs.

Viewsonic. I like the brand, it has great rez, excellent contrast, and a good price.

Hi A Guy!

Doesn't the Viewsonic has 2ms response time, and a 100,000:1 contrast?

Yes, but see my comments, I personally wouldn't consider it. We obviously have differing opinions of Viewsonic :) My wording was bad. Let me change it to, ..."of the 2 I would consider..."

It is amazing all the inroads LG has made. They're everywhere and doing a great job. My family all had LG phones (though that changed - no fault to LG). A/C, home appliances, TVs, solar power, displays - they are a force to be reckoned with.

LG>ASUS

Okies thanks for all you replies, helped a lot. Now ditching the viewsonic and going for first pick with the LG and second pick the ASUS.

edit-also, Lemur, I think the Viewsonic is dynamic contrast and therefore cannot be compared in contrast to the others.
