new motherboard, help!

Hello,

My motherboard died on me. So i had it replaced with a new one. Now i have to "repair" the installed win 7.

I've done some reading and found that it is somewhat impossible to do this. (right?)

I guess it is better to backup (copy to ext. HDD) all the files on the HDD and then do a clean format/install).

But then! how do i restore the mail (outlook 2007) which is backuped to the external HDD ?????

My suggestion would be to backup the hard drive, format the computer reinstall windows, also link will tell you how to backup emails from Outlook2007: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/ha100758021033.aspx
