I am planning on b uilding a new pc next year (2017) and am hoping to gather the bits rather than buy all at the same time
Noew i have seen a mother board AMD Vishera FX-8350 8 Core 4Ghz, ASUS M5A78L-M USB3 Motherboard & 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM Bundle: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories It says ram is at 1600mhz but i am hoping to save a but of money and use the ram my currant PC has untill i can buy for the new one my rams at 666Mhz - would it be possible to use my ram on this moatherboard

You probably could use the RAM that you have as long as it is DDR3. It obviously is going to run slow. I would bite the bullet and buy some new 1600 MHz RAM. Or just buy the stuff you linked with the RAM. Seriously, is it worth using slow old RAM to save 10 pounds?

RAM is cheap these days, and there is no sense bottlenecking your system to save a couple of bucks.

I'm afraid that I would disagree on that one. It's a barely acceptable mobo for that CPU. Yes, it is supported, but the mobo only has a 760G/SB710 chipset, which is quite old by today's standards. A much better choice would be a mobo that has a 970/SB950 or 990X/SB950 or 990FX/SB950 based chipset. Note that none of the chipsets that I mention have graphics capabilities, so you would need a graphics card.

If you plan to do any gaming, the onboard graphics of that mobo's 760G chipset aren't really up to the task anyway, so you would have to buy a GPU somewhere down the line to get any sort of gaming performance out of it.

I'm not sure what Amazon.UK is offering in the way of other packages, but see if you can find this mobo in a package with the FX8350:

I have one of them, and it's a pretty solid performer, though it isn't much good for overclocking. But the cost is comparable to the mobo in the package you quoted, and it's a better, more up to date mobo. You will, however need a graphics card if you buy that one, as it doesn't have onboard graphics.

2. How much money can you spend in USD. ($)

3. When do you plan on doing this upgrade/build.
Parts variety change by the week. Meaning if you have to wait the parts list will differ.

1, General use i do photography and i am learning to use an animation programme i bought
2, I have no idea in dollars but i am hoping to apend no more than about £600
3, I was thinking around mayish when i have time off to do it and will have sortewd other stuff out as well as save a few more pounds

A system to use Photoshop and animation programs will require at least 4 core processor and a lot of ram to work properly. I have no idea how one can do that for $737.00 US dollars.

That is just my opinion. Others will have their opinions.
It will also depend on what one considers (working properly).

Hi,
I did run cc6 or adobe creative cloud on a dual core
A graphic's card of 1gb is a minimal requirement to use it's 3d rendering
It was a slow as sheet but did function

A skylake dual core might be a different game all together.

Well, also keep in mind that unless you have a retail copy of Windows, you will not be able to move your current copy of Windows to the new machine. You'll need to buy another copy, and will have to factor that into your budget.

You can shave a bit of money off of your budget by buying just an AMD quad core. The eight core is nice, but adds about $80 to $100 to the price, and really won't give you much difference in terms of performance. A quad core with a lot of RAM would probably be best for your use and budget.

If you want to buy a good system at as low cost as possible, buy AMD. If you want better performance (but at higher cost), buy Intel.
