Perfectly, the W-LAN connection works fine :) Thanks alot!
In my device-manager under "Other Devices" are still 4 things,
Ethernet-Controller
PCI-Kommunicationcontroller (einfach)
SM-Bus-Controller
USB (Universal Serial Bus)-Controller

Are those things important? They seem to need an update too or?
And what other drivers will I still need now? :o

Again, thanks for all the help! :)

Those components might not get updated in Windows Update, but that should be the first place to try.

As long as you're certain that you posted the correct model: Acer | Download
  • download and update the Chipset drivers. That should resolve PCI, SMBus, and USB.
  • download and update LAN. that should resolve Ethernet.
  • ** Only if WU does not offer the drivers
Make sure that you select the correct bitwise version (32bit ot 64 bit)

I forget a lot of things maxie - a privilege of being an elder :p

My original 'driver update' reply was only meant to address Sync's question about the four flagged devices in DevMgr. After I read your PM, I took a 2nd look and saw my opps - hence the USB 3.0 post :o

I figured WU would supply most of the drivers needed and that Sync is smart enough to figure out the rest.:geek:

Hey, I just remembered something

Is this thread solved? Can Sync911 mark it as solved and open a new thread if other questions remain.

I think it's solved.
