New PSU

hi, I'm in need of a new PSU, the caps in my current one have blow so I've had to replace it with a PSU which is a little short in voltage but it will get by for now. The original thats blown and I'm after is an ATX 250GT. Is there a cheap ones about or anything similar and cheap'ish which I could buy?

If this is the original,

it was only a 250W to begin with. Is this for the computer in your specs or a different one? If it is for the one in your specs then for the most part any 300-400W (or similar spec'ed 250W or so like the original) is more than enough.

Never Buy from maplins. Made that mistake once!!!

In the end I took it back, went to novatech (or ebuyer) and got one of these:

Corsair CX 430W ATX2.2 Power Supply

had it a few weeks now, works perfectly.

the system its going in is pretty old, i don't really want to spend too much on it or buy something that will drain my pocket.... if it comes to that then I'd rather buy a whole new system.

no problem, out of those two i'd personally go for the novatech model
