When you install Win7, chances are the system will find the required drivers automatially. You can check the situation in Device Manager (look for yellow warning triangles) and act on the odd ones.

In addition, your components that require drivers will come with a CD/DVD with drivers on it. However those drivers are usually relatively ancient.

It is always best to go to the manufacturer's website and download the most current drivers for that component and install that instead of what is on the CD.

You can install a more current driver after W7 is installed with the drivers it finds and installs during the OS installation if you want to.

if your planning on gaming then absolutely , go to the manufacturers websites and download the latest drivers for everything especially the 460 as they arer improving that cards performance with every new release , and the chipset drivers for your mobo are another very important factor in performance as they control pretty much everything at some level , outdated chipset drivers can cause all sorts of issues.

your original win 7 install will give you a stable enough system to start off with but its a good idea to have all the drivers downloaded and ready to install before you build up your rig and install windows

its also very important with a new rig to reboot your pc after avery driver installl whether prompted to or not

good luck :)
