New SSD installed, now hotter, and uses more RAM and CPU

I put new SSD WD Blue 500gb hardrive after cloning it from my original HDD drive..
Boots up and operates much faster.
But, it uses more RAM, CPU and runs hotter.
About 20F idle hotter, which is about 135-140.
CPU 5 to 12%
RAM usage 3 gb. Just idling.
Fan pathway is clear, as I vacuum it monthly, and just checked it prior to posting.
I use some Thermal IC chip stuff on cpu that xoticpc put on there, and it was replaced last year.
All of these issues, if they are issues, are right after installing SSD. W7 Home Premium, Fan pathway cleaned via vacuum prior to posting, clean disk done, i7 cpu, Sager NP 5160

Okay, Did everything I could.., which was everything on that list except update disk, as it is up to date. And write caching. Its says its not necessary but try it..

I may be off the mark here, but is not an image the preferred method over clone? By definition a clone is used to duplicate ALL settings to another drive of the same type, as in setting up identical computers for an office environment. Whereas an image sets only the software to the new SSD that you have already set as per Samuria's post.

Here's a guy who reviews several m.2 nvme heatsinks (though he's only measuring sensor #1, the memory chip sensor which is 20C cooler than the controller chip, sensor #2). Other reviews look at the controller chip but this guy looks at 8 different heatsinks so that why I found it. The Silverstone is the best, but you need room since its also the largest.

It will give you one of two results, either a 0 or a 1. A zero indicates that TRIM is enabled correctly, a one means that it is not. If you have a TRIM-compatible SSD, but find that Windows 7 hasn't enabled the command, you can easily do so by running this command:

fsutil behavior set DisableDeleteNotify 0

Just to follow up. After running crystal diskmark and getting up to 94C on my samsumg nvme m.2 evo 960 chip controller (yikes), I picked up the SilverStone TP02-M2. Left the evo's samsung label in place (some people peel it off) because it apparently has copper in as a heat spreader so I just attached the heatsink. Took 2 minutes. Just ran crystal disk mark and max temp was 64C, 30C lower. Wow.

There is a guy on the net who says NOT to put a heatsink on your drive because "SSDs like it hot". He then goes on to say how NAND chips at 25C have a shorter life than those at 40C. Since my temps were way above that I decided to ignore him. Current idle nand memory chip temp is 40C, idle memory controller chip is at 49C.

Remember that on a SSD there is no need for de fragmentation and it should be set to never do it on Defrag settings (Defrag reduces SSD life)

As you cloned a failing HDD you should run sfc /scannow to see if there is no corrupted system files.
