Just finished a new system build using components all less than 6 months old. Running OEM Windows7 Home x64. Burned in over three days with Prime95 and then 5 runs of Memtest86 with no issues.

Loaded CS3 Photoshop last night and then turned on unit today. Within 5 min. ,experienced two BSOD's although I don't know if they are related to CS3.

Can someone review my attached BSOD dump & perfmon reports and offer any advise?

Thanks...

Hello ! Welcome to SF !

Seems like the Logs weren't very helpful but few basic things we have to do. Follow this artilce and Run a Hardware Diagnostic (Memory and Hard Drive) follow this link for instructions Hardware Diagnostic !! « Captain Debugger

Also Enable the Driver Verifier http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...-driver-verifier-identify-issues-drivers.html

Hope this helps,
Captain

Thanks for the reply Captain... figured I should update the thread.

Ran the hardware diagnostics and all hardware checked out except my suspicions regarding the M/B. In fact, I've been battling this Gigabyte board for several months now, I RMA'd it once and got the same results with the new one. After reading in several forums about how problematic this model is, I switched to a MSI 790X-G45.

Now it's running like a champ. Memtest+86 4.0 ran 12 passes with no issues. Prime95 ran for 48 hours continuous, again without a hiccup. Installed programs and ran it up and down... perfect!

I'll be very careful before ordering another Gigabyte, which is a shame. Always had good results with them before. But be very weary of the GA-770TA-UD3 AM3!
