I am using IE8. WHen I open a new tab I used to get thumbnails of 10 (+/-) most frequently visited web sites. Now I get "whatdo you want to do next?"

These are the sites that you see when you right click the IE8 icon in the system tray under "frequent".

I have restored new tab options to default setttings with no luck.

Any thoughts?

"What...next?" is the normal new tab dialog. But if during a browsing session you open and close say 10 tabs, the new tab will include the option to reopen any of the previously viewed web pages during that session.

BTW, I've never seen an IE icon in the system tray (clock area). But in Windows 7 the IE icon in the task bar can be right clicked to choose which of the currently open web pages you want to view.

Thank you. Why do they change this stuff?? It was such a nice simple feature. My facebook and twitter etc. pages were right there to click. It's no wonder Apple has cleaned their clocks.

And you are correct - taskbar.
